How can we help you?
As part of its mission, SYLC tries to get its messages out to as many people as possible, and aims to empower teens to act as leaders and advocates in their own communities.
Below are just some of the many resources we offer that could help other communities or youth groups to start conversations, run workshops, and join our media campaigns (or create their own!).

Equity Campaign Social Media Graphics
The Equity Campaign aims to promote equity in Sitka so that community members can identify their own privilege and ways they can use their power to help other people. Feel free to use and share the following social media graphics to educate your followers on important concepts relating to equity! The concepts and definitions have been compiled from a variety of sources and experts, from dictionaries to leaders in the fight for justice, both local and otherwise. Many thanks to those who have shared knowledge in any form with SYLC and contributed to the development of this campaign.
SYLC's Media Toolkit
SYLC's media toolkit is a video in which members share their thoughts, experiences and the importance of respect, a sense of belonging and interrupting oppression. By doing this they hope to inspire discussions about these topics. And hopefully, if enough people talk and spread this message, it can make a difference.
